Wow, HP has inadvertently (I hope) taken racist technology to a whole new level. It’s said that they’re working on a “fix” for this, but how the hell do they create facial recognition software that doesn’t recognize people of a certain skin type/shade/color? Don’t they…test…these things?
reminds me of that episode of Better Off Ted when the light sensors don’t recognize the black co-workers…either way it’s really unfortunate.
